Shh… don't tell anyone I'm poor. They all think I'm living frugal and green just like everyone these days. This is a blog about a senior citizen living a frugal life, on a fixed income, in a low income food desert, and passing along knowledge from lessons learned. Some she learned from her Grandma Mama many years ago and some learned only a few days ago.
No one wanted the commodity apple-cranberry juice I was giving away so I decided to make juice jello. The juice is rather tart which is why no one wanted it. Basically you can make juice jello out of any juice you want. Even tomato juice or carrot juice. All you need is a juice and unflavored gelatin.
That’s it. Done. Put into the fridge until it gets cold and firm. You have juice jello. Ok, the cranberry part of this juice is quite tart. I added just a small bit of sugar to take away that tartness.
