Shh… don't tell anyone I'm poor. They all think I'm living frugal and green just like everyone these days. This is a blog about a senior citizen living a frugal life, on a fixed income, in a low income food desert, and passing along knowledge from lessons learned. Some she learned from her Grandma Mama many years ago and some learned only a few days ago.
I’m getting ready to make more masks while on my staycation. Sewing is my favorite pass time. I had been doing some sketches for a possible quilt to make and calm my jitters. That’s when I received a request for more masks for a couple of people. Sure! Masks are sewing too.
I thought I’d ask if anyone else needs masks before I start cutting fabric. Please email me if you need some. firstname.lastname@example.org I make them with ties instead of elastic because its more comfortable that way. I use two different color fabrics so you always know which is the inside. I use washable quilt cottons. The ties are t-shirt fabric strips.
I know there are people making and selling these masks but I don’t charge for the ones I make. I do ask for the postage though.
🙂 Gosh for someone determined to quit blogging I’ve sure been on here a lot today. I have dozens of comments to go through later.
